How to Clean White Shoes and Sneakers of All Colors

Everyday wear can stain shoes fast. Luckily, OxiClean™ products help you clean the crust, dust and mud from your sneakers and prolong the life of your favorite white fabric shoes.

Can You Use OxiClean™ on White Sneakers?

OxiClean™ has two products that can help get your white fabric sneakers white and bright again, depending on whether you can machine wash them. Check the label on your shoes—many mesh and canvas shoes can be put in the washer, but do not use OxiClean™ products on leather shoes.

Once you verify your fabric shoes are washable, give OxiClean™ White Revive™ Laundry Whitener + Stain Remover a whirl. It cleans white shoes and renews their brightness, even on shoes that have yellowed over time.

If your shoes aren’t machine washable, you can soak them with OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover (VSR). Do not use a VSR soak if the shoes are not water washable, and do not use OxiClean™ with leather or wool shoes. Shoes or sneakers made of mesh, canvas or other fabrics are good to go, but always check the care label inside your shoe to be sure.

Can You Wash Other Fabric Shoes with OxiClean™?

OxiClean™ products are chlorine bleach-free, so they can be used on canvas and mesh sneakers of all colors to remove stains and renew the brightness in your fabric shoes. OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover and OxiClean™ Max Force™ Spray can help clean grass and other pesky stains from canvas sneakers. Moreover, OxiClean™ Odor Blasters™ Versatile Stain & Odor Remover can help eliminate the stinky feet smell after a long and sweaty workout.
