Stain Fighters

This stuff is AMAZING. It works so so well with everything I've tried to whiten. Sheets I thought were too far gone, vintage T-shirts that had yellowed with age are now bright white again. Believe the hype, IT WORKS. Use hot water and soak, you'll be amazed.

Let me start by saying I love OxiClean and have used it for years. That said, when my husband bought the OxiClean Odor Blasters by mistake and I got a whiff of the scent through the unopened box, which tells me the product has an extremely strong scent, (which I do not like in any product) I still thought, “Try it. Maybe it’s not too strong.” Then I opened the box, and the scent, for me, is so strong it is unpleasant. My family says I have a very sensitive sense of smell, and strong odours bother me immensely. This is one of those odors. I poured the Odor Blasters into the glass jar I store our OxiClean in, and I was so anxious to get out of the laundry room and away from the smell I forgot to put the lid on the jar. Our laundry room is in the basement. As I came into the kitchen and stood at the basement door the next day, I could smell the Odor Blasters from the top of the stairs. To me it’s just that strong of an odor. And I am not enjoying it. My husband is ok with the smell. My kids are still deciding. I cannot wash any of my own clothes or sheets in it because to give it credit, the scent is still strong when the clothes come out of both the wash and the dryer. If I liked the smell that would be totally ok, but when it’s this strong, it is not tolerable. I have used another brand’s liquid laundry sanitizer for 3-4 years now, ever since my youngest started playing volleyball and the sport clothes needed extra help in controlling odor, and that product is scented, but I don’t have the issues with that product that I am having with the OxiClean Odor Blasters. I have to admit, I am sad the scent is so strong I can’t use it on all my laundry, because I would love to have an OxiClean that also tackles odor. What a wonderful one-step laundry additive that would be! But for me, I cannot use this. The scent is just too darn strong.

I would give this product a 5 stars but the STRONG SMELL of perfume or FRAGRANCE that they add to it is terrible. perfectly good product but they go and ADD fragrance into it. we all know now Fragrance is bad for us, its hormone disturbing, terrible when pregnant (too strong smelling). its not like a chemical smell like chlorine its like Straight up strong perfume. MyHubby hates it. He likes to smell clean, since when did smelling clean means you smell like strong detergent perfume. clean means you don't smell. Im always walking by people that smell like detergent. but because theyre out and about running errands they smell like BO ( sweat and the Detergent fragrance ) its not like it masks it, it actually smells worse
