Stain Fighters

I am very disappointed in the new formula of OxiClean. I have used the I have been using the Gel Stick for many years & always kept extra on hand because it works so well. One wash with OxiClean "Gel Stick" and the stains are gone. The new Gel formula has changed to "ULTTA CONCENTRATED GEL" (it is now a "CONSENTRATED FORMULA") Not worth purchasing. After 3 washings the stains are untouched.

I’ve had a container of this for years, but saving a white cardigan made me write this review. There was a huge laundry OOPS and a white, knit cardigan ended up in the machine with new, dark denim jeans. We all know how badly dark denim runs, so no surprise to see the sweater was a horrible, splotchy mess. We caught it before going into the dryer, & mom told me to immediately grab oxiclean powder, dissolve it in a bucket of cool water, soak the sweater for a while, squish the water out, then make a fresh bath of oxiclean & cool water, & put the sweater back in overnight. I was amazed when I couldn’t find a single trace of blue, after a thorough rinsing.

Used on a grease spot on a shirt. Followed direction to a T. Took out most of the grease but the entire load of laundry picked up the smell of the Oxiclean. Not a nice smell. Washed again immediately and still stinks.
