How to Remove Dried Blood Stains

Treating stains immediately is best, but you can’t always treat every stain before it dries. Dried blood stains can be especially tough to remove, but with OxiClean™, there’s hope!

To give yourself the best chance of removing dried blood stains from clothes or surfaces using OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover, follow these steps:

Remove any excess blood stain by rinsing with cool water before pre-soaking the item.

Fill scoop to line 4 per 1 gallon of water and mix well.

Submerge the blood-stained items for six hours.

Wash as normal with laundry detergent and an extra scoop of OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover. That’s how you use OxiClean™ to remove dried blood stains.

Always test OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover on an inconspicuous area first. Rinse, and allow it to dry. OxiClean is safe on colorfast fabrics only.
